Top New Dodge Models Pennsylvania
The Dodge Company has been an automaker since 1900. Better known for
their trucks, Dodge has emerged with new popular models in the form
of the Charger and Challenger, modern vehicles with a retro flair of
the muscle car era. They also have the answer to family movers in
their renowned Dodge Grand Caravan.
New Dodge Challenger
The Dodge Challenger is a modern interpretation of the classic
American muscle car. Unlike the unrefined pony cars of yesteryear,
the Challenger features the fuel efficiency, safety, handling,
technology and build quality expected in a contemporary coupe. The
2010 Dodge Challenger carries over from 2009. The Challenger is
available in three trims: SE, R/T and SRT8. The SE is powered by a
250-hp 3.5-liter V6 with a 4-speed automatic transmission. The R/T's
5.7-liter HEMI V8 features 370 horsepower with the standard 5-speed
automatic with sequential shift control, and 375 horsepower with the
optional 6-speed manual. The SRT8's 6.1-liter HEMI V8 engine is
mated to a standard 5-speed automatic with sequential shift control
or an optional 6-speed manual, and whips up 425 horsepower and 420
lb-ft of torque.
New Dodge Charger
The Dodge Charger is a boldly designed full-size four-door sedan
which can be factory equipped from mild to wild to suit virtually
any buyers needs or desires. The Charger carries-over for 2010 with
minimal changes. The Base model comes standard with a 178-hp,
2.7-liter V6 mated to a four-speed automatic transmission. A 250-hp
3.5-liter V6 comes standard on the SXT; a 370-hp 5.7-liter V8 comes
on R/T models; and a 425-hp 6.1-liter V8 is exclusive to the SRT8.
All-wheel drive is available for Base, SXT and R/T models.
Otherwise, rear-wheel drive is standard. Safety features that come
standard on all SXT, R/T and SRT8 Charger models include anti-lock
brakes, all-speed traction control and electronic stability control
with brake assist.
New Dodge Ram
The Dodge Ram 1500 offers interiors with premium materials and
innovative features, and big power from a choice of engines, making
it ideal for work and play. The Ram 1500 was completely redesigned
for 2009 model year and remains unchanged. The Ram 1500 provides
something for everyone with the choice of three cab styles, three
wheelbases, 4x2 or 4x4 drive types, and 3.7-liter V6 or 4.7-liter V8
or 5.7-liter HEMI V8 engines. Electronic and infotainment choices
include a multimedia infotainment system with 30-gigabyte hard
drive, navigation system, SIRIUS Backseat TV, surround-sound audio
and a rear-seat DVD entertainment system. The RamBox cargo
management system, available on the Crew cab, includes lockable,
illuminated storage bins built into bed rails.
New Dodge Grand Caravan
The Dodge Grand Caravan is at the forefront of the minivan market
offering the features and innovative seating that many families find
indispensable. The Grand Caravan carries-over with minimal changes
for 2010. The Grand Caravan's most important feature, both from a
usability stand-point and competitive stand-point, is that this van
features Stow'n Go seats. The second and third row seats can be
folded into the floor. No more fumbling to release and remove
awkward heavy seats and then trying to find a suitable place to
store them. Combine this with standard stain repelling seat trim and
you have a truly family-friendly vehicle. The SE is powered by a 175
horsepower 3.3-liter V6 mated to a four-speed automatic
transmission. The SXT model uses a more powerful 197 horsepower
3.8-liter V6, while a 251 horsepower 4.0-liter V6 is available. Both
the standard and optional SXT engine choices use a six-speed
automatic. All trims come equipped with a tilting steering column,
remote keyless entry and a tire pressure monitor.
New Dodge Dakota
The Dodge Dakota is a mid-size pickup that provides nearly full-size
truck power and capability. The 2010 Dakota is carried over from
2009. The Dakota is available with the choice of 3.7-liter V6 or
4.7-liter V8 engines, four- or five-speed automatic transmissions,
two body styles, two- or four-wheel drive, and four trim levels. The
3.7-liter V6 produces 210 horsepower, while the E85-compatible 4.7L
V8 makes 302 horsepower. A remote start system and Uconnect wireless
connectivity are also available.
